Hologram ID

Hologram sealA silver seal on the box, used by Medicom Toy since 2010. Depending on the light, it shows the BE@RBRICK logo, the “@” and the outline of the bear’s head. In the middle is the A-number you see on the card; numbered consecutively, it roughly tells you the production period.
Hidden TagSince early 2022, Medicom Toy has put a sticker with a B-number on the right sole and on the packaging. Photograph it with the Hidden Tag app: it checks the code against Medicom Toy’s database and shows you an electronic proof of authenticity.
du-al.ioAn NFC chip in the figure’s right leg, in use since July 2022 (Medicom Toy with Hakuhodo Products); the du-al.io logo on the packaging tells you it is there.
