Hologram sealA silver seal on the box, used by Medicom Toy since 2010. Depending on the light, it shows the BE@RBRICK logo, the “@” and the outline of the bear’s head. In the middle is its own A-number; numbered consecutively, it roughly tells you the production period.

Hidden TagSince early 2022, Medicom Toy has put a sticker with a B-number on the right sole and on the packaging. Photograph it with the Hidden Tag app: it checks the code against Medicom Toy’s database and shows you an electronic proof of authenticity.

du-al.ioAn NFC chip in the figure’s right leg, in use since July 2022 (Medicom Toy with Hakuhodo Products); the du-al.io logo on the packaging tells you it is there. What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?
This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector’s item in its own right and important for preserving the model’s value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.
What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?
Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colours and material over time.
How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?
Medicom Toy’s production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
