There is probably no duo that has staged the fusion of man and machine as iconically as Daft Punk. Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter hid behind their legendary robot helmets and created a milestone in electronic music with the album Random Access Memories in 2013. Medicom Toy has created a very special monument to this era and brings the characteristic look of the two Grammy-winning robots to the collector's table in the unmistakable Bearbrick format. This 2-figure set celebrates precisely that moment when French House, disco, and futuristic aesthetics merged into a timeless work of art.
Both figures wear elegant, glossy black suits that reflect the duo's stylish appearance – including suggested lapels, a delicate chain pendant, and cufflinks. The crucial difference lies in the heads: The Golden Helmet represents Guy-Manuel and shines in warm, mirrored gold, extending to the ears and the characteristic claws of the hands. The Silver Helmet embodies Thomas and shimmers in cool chrome silver with the distinctive black visor stripe across the face.
