Bearbrick Daruma Quiz "The answer will be revealed in one year" 400% mit Verpackung — With the original Medicom Toy packaging

This Bearbrick is a collaboration with the popular Japanese TV show "Quiz! Seikai wa Ichinen-go" (クイズ!正解は一年後), which airs on the TBS channel. The show poses predictions and questions whose answers are only revealed a year later – a charming concept that celebrates curiosity, patience, and the thrill of the unknown. Medicom Toy has translated this playful spirit into a Bearbrick figure that impressively combines Japanese tradition and colorful zest for life.

The face of the BE@RBRICK Daruma Quiz "The answer will be revealed in one year" (400%) features a classic Daruma countenance with striking red and gold accents, considered one of Japan's most famous symbols of good luck. The word "クイズ" (Quiz) is emblazoned in bold Kanji characters on its forehead, while the message "正解は一年後" – the answer will be revealed in one year – can be read on its belly. The entire body is rendered in an elaborate patchwork design reminiscent of traditional Japanese Chiyogami papers. The front combines fields in red, turquoise, violet, and pink with motifs such as cherry blossoms, fireworks, and delicate floral patterns. The back features even bolder accents with patches depicting watermelons, goldfish, strawberries, polka dots, and star patterns. These motifs represent various Japanese seasons and festivities – from the cherry blossoms of spring to summer watermelons and the fireworks of the Matsuri season.

With a height of approximately 28 cm, this 400% version offers ample surface area to fully showcase the detailed patchwork design. Each individual field has been given its own pattern and color palette, allowing new details to be discovered with every viewing. For collectors who appreciate Japanese culture and limited Medicom Toy editions, this model represents a particularly appealing addition – the combination of Daruma symbolism, contemporary pop culture, and artisanal patchwork aesthetics is unique in this form.

Whether as an eye-catcher in your display cabinet, a good luck charm with a wink, or an extraordinary gift for Japan enthusiasts – this Bearbrick combines tradition and entertainment in a way that invites a smile and simultaneously delights visually. Secure this colorful collectible now before the answer is revealed.

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there’s no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector’s item in its own right and important for preserving the model’s value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colours and material over time.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy’s production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
