Bearbrick Funshine Bear Costume Version [Care Bears] 400% mit Verpackung — With the original Medicom Toy packaging

The Care Bears are among the most iconic figures in pop culture, delighting generations of fans worldwide since the early 1980s. Originally designed as greeting card motifs by American Greetings, the Care Bears quickly evolved into a global phenomenon with their own TV series, feature films, and a vast merchandising universe. Among the colorful inhabitants of Care-a-Lot, Funshine Bear is the carefree optimist of the group, brightening everyone's day with his infectious laughter and positive energy. Medicom Toy has now immortalized this cult character in a special Costume version as the Bearbrick, combining the charm of the nostalgic original with the contemporary collectible figure.

This Bearbrick is completely covered in soft, bright yellow plush fur, giving the character its unmistakable cuddly appeal. The signature Bearbrick silhouette blends harmoniously with Funshine Bear's round, inviting look. The face features the characteristic large eyes with warm brown irises, a small brown nose, and the heartfelt smile that makes Funshine Bear so endearing. The insides of the ears are white, providing a subtle contrast to the bright yellow. The central design element is located on the tummy: a white, circular panel featuring the iconic sun symbol – a radiant, smiling sun in golden yellow, which is Funshine Bear's trademark. On the back, a small, carefully embroidered red heart completes the loving design and adds a charming detail that underscores the warmhearted message of the Care Bears.

At 400% scale, this Bearbrick reaches a height of approximately 28 cm, making it a perfect eye-catcher in any display case or on a shelf. The Costume version stands out from classic Bearbrick figures with its textile surface, offering a unique tactile quality that is sure to delight collectors. The combination of the globally popular Care Bears license and the special plush finish makes this model a highly sought-after piece for both Bearbrick enthusiasts and Care Bears fans.

Whether as the centerpiece of your Bearbrick collection, a nostalgic decorative highlight, or an extraordinary gift for someone who deserves an extra dose of sunshine – this Funshine Bear is guaranteed to bring good cheer to any room. Secure this model before it's sold out and bring a piece of cloud land into your home.

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there’s no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector’s item in its own right and important for preserving the model’s value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colours and material over time.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy’s production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
