Product description

The BE@RBRICK Knave by Yuck P(l/r)ayer (400%) is the result of a fascinating collaboration between Medicom Toy and the street art project Knave, operating under the creative umbrella of Yuck P(l/r)ayer. This name conceals an art movement deeply rooted in urban subculture, merging the raw energy of graffiti, vandalism, and sacred symbolism into a distinctive visual vocabulary. Released via the du-al.io platform, this model is aimed at collectors who view Bearbricks not just as design objects, but as viable miniature artworks.

The design of this Bearbrick is a veritable explosion of visual density. The entire surface – from the ears to the feet – is covered with countless graffiti tags, lettering, paint splatters, and overlaid symbols. Bold tones of pink, orange, yellow, blue, and violet merge with lighter areas to create a chaotic yet harmonious overall image that captures the energy of a city wall covered with decades of tags. Individual inscriptions such as "1978", "NSWR", or anarchy symbols can be discovered upon closer inspection, inviting repeated exploration of the surface. The finish appears matte and textured, almost as if real concrete had been treated with spray paint.

However, the absolute highlight is only revealed in the dark: this Bearbrick features an impressive glow-in-the-dark function. When you turn off the lights, a completely new motif emerges from beneath the chaotic layers of graffiti – a sacred Marian figure in the style of the Virgin of Guadalupe on the front and an open hand on the back, framed by bluish glowing text fragments and symbols. This dualism between profane street art chaos in daylight and hidden religious iconography in the darkness forms the conceptual core of the design and gives the piece unusual depth.

With its 400% size of approximately 28 cm, this Bearbrick offers an ideal canvas for detailed design and is highly popular as a limited collector's item among both street art enthusiasts and Bearbrick collectors. The combination of expressive graffiti aesthetics and hidden luminous function ensures that this model tells a completely different story by day and by night – a true art object with a surprise effect that should not be missing from any ambitious collection.

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there's no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector's item in its own right and important for preserving the model's value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colors and material over time and ensure long-term value retention.

Delivery within Germany typically takes 1 to 2 business days, to other EU countries 2 to 4 business days, and to the United Kingdom 3 to 5 business days. You will always receive a tracking number so you can check the status of your delivery at any time.

How much are the shipping costs for this Bearbrick?

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy's production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
