When sportswear culture meets designer toys, an object like this is born: The collaboration between Medicom Toy and Nike transforms one of the sports giant's most iconic pieces of apparel into a sculptural collector's figure. At its core is the legendary Tech Fleece material, developed by Nike for its sportswear line, which has been applied to the Bearbrick as a true textile in scale. Instead of a mere print, the figure wears an actual sewn miniature outfit – a level of detail that makes this edition particularly special within the Nike collaborations.
Visually, the melange-grey heather finish of the fleece fabric dominates, recreated down to the seams of the original: a zipper with a black pull, contrasting black cuffs, side pockets with characteristic details, and the black Swoosh on the chest and leg set clear accents. A hood is placed over the head, beneath which a shiny chrome face peeks out – the same reflective chrome look is found on the hands, creating an elegant contrast to the textile grey. The look is completed by intricately designed sneakers in white with red and grey accents.
The set comes in a mixed-size format, combining a large 400% figure with a height of approximately 28 cm and a small 100% variant measuring about 7 cm, which features the same design in miniature. Both are delivered in a high-quality box styled like a Nike shoe box with striking Swoosh graphics. As a 2023 release, this model appeals to sneakerheads and Bearbrick collectors alike.
