BE@RBRICK Series 14 Basic (100%)

With the Bearbrick, Medicom Toy created a designer figure whose simple silhouette has become a canvas for countless ideas. In every edition of the classic series, alongside collaborations and artist models, there is the Basic category, which shows the essence of the Bearbrick without any detours: a pared-back form, a single character on the chest and a clear colour concept. The BE@RBRICK Series 14 Basic (100%) from 2007 interprets this idea in a particularly refined way and relies entirely on the effect of its surface.

The entire body gleams in mirror-like gold chrome, which catches every light source in the room and reflects it back in warm highlights. From the round ears and the distinctive head to the angular legs, the finish remains flawlessly glossy throughout, so the figure's typical curves and edges stand out in sculptural relief. On the chest sits a dark printed character in the bold, straight-lined Basic typography, which contrasts strikingly with the gold background. The arms, legs and head are movable, so you can give your Bearbrick little poses.

In single format at around 7 cm tall, the 100% figure shows the classic Bearbrick proportions in their handy base size. The real appeal of the Basic category lies in the collecting concept: each edition bears a different character, and only when placed side by side do they form initials, names or entire words. In this way, individual figures become a personal message that you can expand and recombine as you like. As part of Series 14, this model combines the Basic idea with the luxurious chrome look.

Whether on a shelf, on your desk or in a display cabinet – the golden gleam catches the eye straight away. For collectors who value timeless aesthetics, this Bearbrick is a stylish addition, and as a gift with a personal touch it impresses twice over.
