BE@RBRICK Series 23 Basic (100%)

The Basic line is one of the cornerstones of Bearbrick history and has accompanied Medicom Toy's famous standard series since their very beginnings. Within Series 23 from 2011, the Basic theme stands for a clear design principle shaped by typography: each figure bears a single character prominently on its chest, set in the distinctive Basic typeface. It is precisely this reduction to colour, finish and typography that makes the line a timeless classic that fits effortlessly into any collection.

Visually, this model impresses with a bold, deep blue chrome surface that gives the whole body an intense, mirror-like shine. The metallic, shimmering blue runs from the round ears across the head, torso and arms down to the legs, creating reflections and colour gradients depending on how the light falls and making the bear's characteristic silhouette look particularly three-dimensional. On the chest, a light-coloured character set in the Basic style stands out in strong contrast against the glossy background, adding a graphic accent that underlines the line's clear design language.

The BE@RBRICK Series 23 Basic (100%) comes as a single figure in the handy 100% format, around 7 cm tall, with the typical movable joints at the head, arms and legs. As part of the Basic line, it follows the popular collecting concept in which individual letters and characters can be combined into whole lettering and words – an appeal that has kept many collectors loyal to the standard series over the years. The glossy chrome finish gives this piece extra appeal and sets it apart from matt standard variants.

Whether as an eye-catcher on your shelf, a stylish addition to an existing Basic collection or your entry into the world of Bearbricks – this model combines a compact format with a high-quality look. The metallic shine makes the figure a decorative object that stands on its own while also making you want more characters from the line.
