Product details

Product description

Doraemon is one of Japan's most famous manga characters and has accompanied generations of readers for decades. The robot cat from the future, created by Fujiko F. Fujio, and his friend Nobita experience imaginative adventures in countless episodes. This model, released in 2022, translates precisely this narrative world into a wearable sculpture: instead of a smooth color surface, the bear silhouette is completely printed with original comic panels, thus celebrating the timeless aesthetic of the black and white manga page.

The entire surface is covered with a dense pattern of panels, speech bubbles, Japanese characters, and drawings. In black on white, you can recognize classic scenes with Doraemon and Nobita, stretching across the head, ears, body, arms, and legs. Due to the random pattern, the excerpts are individually distributed over the figure, so that each view reveals new details. The matte finish emphasizes the authentic paper and print character of a real comic page and gives the piece a calm, high-quality look.

The set comes as a mixed-size combination and combines a compact format with an impressive 400% figure of approx. 28 cm height. The larger variant acts as a striking statement object, while the small figure convinces as a charming addition. Together, they offer two scales of the same motif and make the subtle differences in the print particularly appealing to collectors of manga and pop culture editions.

If you love Doraemon or have a soft spot for Japanese comic art, this model is a real highlight on your shelf. It is excellent as an eye-catcher, as a gift for manga fans, and as a collectible object that combines nostalgia and modern design. Grab it while the edition is still available.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there's no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector's item in its own right and important for preserving the model's value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colors and material over time and ensure long-term value retention.

How quickly will my order be shipped and how long will delivery take?

Orders received by 2:00 pm on working days (Saturday by 11:00 am) ship the same day – within Germany with Deutsche Post DHL, abroad with DHL or UPS. Delivery within Germany usually takes 1 to 2 working days; with UPS Express Saver, delivery is on the next working day. Deliveries to other EU countries, Sweden, the United Kingdom or Switzerland usually take 3 to 5 working days. You always receive a tracking number so you can check the status of your delivery at any time.

How much are the shipping costs for this Bearbrick?

We offer free shipping within the European Union for orders over €75. For orders below this amount, we charge a flat shipping fee of €4.90 for deliveries within Germany and €7.90 for other EU countries. For UK customers, the shipping fee is GBP 10.00 with a minimum order value of GBP 140.00. We cover all customs duties and import taxes for you. For orders to Switzerland we charge a flat shipping rate of CHF 10.00; the minimum order value is CHF 75.00, and here too we cover all customs duties and import fees for you.

Simply contact us by phone, email, or chat, and we'll send you a prepaid DHL return label. How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy's production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
