Product description

Evangelion Unit-02 is one of the most iconic mechas in anime history and the third functional Evangelion from Hideaki Anno's legendary series Neon Genesis Evangelion, which revolutionized the mecha genre in 1995. As the first production model, EVA-02 was specifically designed to fight the Angels and corrects the flaws of the prototypes EVA-00 and EVA-01. The unit is piloted by Asuka Langley Soryu, the Second Child, whose fiery and confident personality perfectly complements the fiery red color scheme of her Evangelion. What makes EVA-02 unique is that its core contains the soul of Asuka's mother, Kyoko Zeppelin Soryu, who lost a portion of her soul during a contact experiment with the unit. EVA-02 differs from other Evangelions by having four orange-yellow eyes instead of two, blue-gray skin, and blue-violet blood. The unit possesses specialized weapons such as the Progressive Knife in a box-cutter design, a Spike Gun, and the Sonic Glaive. The most dramatic moment of the series is seen in "The End of Evangelion," when, after a psychological breakdown, Asuka reconnects with her mother's soul, and EVA-02, in an enhanced state of power, destroys all nine Mass Production Evangelions before the unit itself is destroyed.

This spectacular 400% Bearbrick figure depicts EVA-02 in its signature color scheme. The dark gray head with its four glowing green eyes perfectly captures the unit's menacing presence, while the gray ears emphasize its organic-mechanical nature. The body showcases the iconic red, orange, and white color scheme with black armor plates and the characteristic V-shaped chest armor. The blue details on the chest symbolize the Core region. The arms display the multicolored segments in red, orange, black, and gray, while the legs continue the same intricate color scheme with yellow geometric accents at the knees. The orange and yellow feet complete the design.

For Evangelion fans, mecha collectors and lovers of 90s anime, this Bearbrick is an essential piece that pays tribute to one of the most influential series of all time.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?

Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there's no risk of damaging the model.

What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?

This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector's item in its own right and important for preserving the model's value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.

What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?

Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colors and material over time and ensure long-term value retention.

How quickly will my order be shipped and how long will delivery take?

Orders received by 2:00 PM on weekdays (11:00 AM on Saturdays) will be shipped the same day via DHL. Delivery within Germany typically takes 1 to 2 business days. Deliveries to other EU countries or Switzerland typically take 2 to 4 business days. You will always receive a tracking number so you can check the status of your delivery at any time.

How much are the shipping costs for this Bearbrick?

We offer free shipping within the European Union for orders over €75. For orders below this amount, we charge a flat shipping fee of €4.90 for deliveries within Germany and €7.90 for other EU countries. For customers in Switzerland or UK, the shipping fee is CHF 10.00 or GBP 10.00 respectively, with a minimum order value of CHF 75 or GBP 75. We cover all customs duties and import taxes for you.

What payment options do I have?

At MyBearBrick.de you can pay securely and conveniently using various payment methods, including PayPal, Klarna (purchase on account), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express).

What happens if I don't like the Bearbrick or it arrives damaged?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If, contrary to expectations, you don't like a Bearbrick or it's damaged, you have a 30-day free return policy. Simply contact us by phone, email, or chat, and we'll send you a prepaid DHL return label. Once we receive your return, we'll, of course, refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs.

Will I receive a certificate of authenticity for this Bearbrick?

For all Bearbricks 200% and larger (including 100%+400% sets), we at Zaiser Art Gallery issue an additional Certificate of Authenticity for your records. This underscores our commitment and conviction to offering only genuine Medicom Toy products.

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?

Medicom Toy's production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
