Product description
The Grateful Dead are among the defining bands of American rock history, and hardly any symbol stands so strongly for their loyal fanbase, the Deadheads, as the colourful bears in mid-stride. They originally adorned the 1973 live album “History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear's Choice)” as a tribute to the legendary sound engineer Owsley “Bear” Stanley. Via T-shirts, patches and car stickers, they became a universally understood code for music, freedom and community. With this collaboration from 2022, Medicom Toy brings the motif to the Bearbrick silhouette, a meeting of two bears that feels almost inevitable.
The base is a brilliant white, glossy body across which a cheerful parade of the iconic figures is spread. In yellow, blue, green, orange and pink, the bears dance over the head, ears, arms and legs, each with bold black outlines and a contrasting coloured ruff that gives them their unmistakable look. Some motifs appear large and front-on, others small and cut off at the edges, creating a lively rhythm reminiscent of the band's endless jams. On the chest of the large figure, a yellow bear with a blue ruff takes pride of place as the central eye-catcher.
The mixed-size set combines a 400% Bearbrick with its small 100% counterpart. Thanks to the Random Pattern, the design sits differently on the two figures: each size shows its own arrangement of the bears, making the duo look particularly varied side by side. As a licensed rendition of one of the best-known symbols of rock culture, the set charmingly combines designer toy and music history.
Whether as the centrepiece of your Bearbrick collection, as a colourful accent next to the record player or as a gift for Deadheads and lovers of the counterculture of the sixties and seventies: this set brings good vibes to any shelf. Grab the dancing gang while it's still available.

I purchased another Bearbrick

... and once again the service was impeccable. I had some special requests for the seller, who kindly accommodated them. The package was carefully packed, the item was perfect and flawless, and it came with a very welcome gift. I will definitely purchase from Zaiser Art again.
Great purchase, great customer service

I bought my first Be@rbrick Bear, Jean-Michel Basquiat, absolutely love it. There was an issue with delivery of my package due to UK Customs but Michael Z. was really helpful and sorted it really quickly. I am sure this will not be my last Be@rbrick purchase!

Is this Bearbrick already pre-assembled?
Yes, all Bearbricks available at MyBearBrick.de are delivered fully assembled by the manufacturer Medicom Toy and are ready to display. So there's no risk of damaging the model.
What packaging does this Bearbrick come in?
This Bearbrick comes in the official original Medicom Toy packaging (see specifications). This is often a collector's item in its own right and important for preserving the model's value. We take care to ensure secure packaging for shipping to prevent damage during transport.
What material is this Bearbrick made of and how do I best care for it?
Most Bearbricks are made of high-quality plastic (ABS plastic), unless otherwise stated in the specifications. For maintenance, we recommend gently dusting the figure regularly with a soft, dry cloth. On chrome versions, fingerprints should be avoided; cloth gloves may be helpful here. Direct sunlight and high humidity should be avoided to protect the colors and material over time and ensure long-term value retention.

Orders received by 2:00 pm on working days (Saturday by 11:00 am) ship the same day – within Germany with Deutsche Post DHL, abroad with DHL or UPS. Delivery within Germany usually takes 1 to 2 working days; with UPS Express Saver, delivery is on the next working day. Deliveries to other EU countries, Sweden, the United Kingdom or Switzerland usually take 3 to 5 working days. You always receive a tracking number so you can check the status of your delivery at any time.

What happens if I don't like the Bearbrick or it arrives damaged?
Your satisfaction is important to us. If, contrary to expectations, you don't like a Bearbrick or it's damaged, you have a 30-day free return policy. Simply contact us by phone, email, or chat, and we'll send you a prepaid DHL return label. Once we receive your return, we'll, of course, refund the full purchase price, including any shipping costs.
Will I receive a certificate of authenticity for this Bearbrick?

How does the quality and mobility of this model differ from other sizes?
Medicom Toy's production quality is very high across all sizes. Larger models (400% or 1000%) often offer more space for detailed designs. However, the joints vary depending on the size: In larger models (400% and 1000%), the arms and legs usually rotate in a single plane. Smaller Bearbricks (especially 100% and 200%) often have ball joints, allowing for more flexible movement of the limbs.
